What is PM Service and why your machine needs PM regularly?

 

If you like your system to work longer, break less, and be calibrated, it needs to have  Preventive Maintenance Service once to twice a year.

Preventive Maintenance Service is not just cleaning air filters, it consists:

1. Internal Software Test: All electronic boards and parts of machine will be tested using Internal Service Platform. This Software is not accessible by customers. Test will show if any board or part is not acting well or not calibrated, and it needs attention. Usually not paying attention to this PM tests results in breaking down the machine with thousands of dollars expense and weeks of down time.

2. Control Panel, Keyboard, CPU & Video Test: will be performed to be sure user can communicate correctly with  machine, and machine can properly show the Warnings, and Error messages to user to prevent bigger damages.

3. High Voltage and Low Voltage Switching Mode Power Supply Tests: to be sure system can provide the asking power by technician. During PM Service this part re-Calibrates with external Tools and internal Service Platform.

4. Cooling System Test: PM is NOT ONLY cleaning Air Filters. Cooling System Test should be performed to be sure machine can cool itself down enough when room temperature is high or machine is in long use; testing Fans, Pumps, Radiators, Flow Pressure, Flow Switches, Flow Level, Temperature Sensors, Temperature Controllers and finally Cleaning Air Filters are steps performed in this part of PM.

5. Leakage Current Test: Testing machine chassis and Probe/Handpiece Leakage Current with precise Measurements Tools is very important in user and patient safety.

6. Phantom Test: Testing Field of View, Penetration, Axial and Lateral Resolution, and Correct Measurements of Ultrasound Probes will be done by Standard OEM Phantom (Ultrasound Systems)

7. DC-Offset Calibration: it is the Re-Calibration of Beam Former, Transmitter, and Receiver Assemblies to have a proper Penetrations, Lateral and Axial Resolution. Testing DICOM, Archive System, Printers (Ultrasound Systems)

8. Re-Calibration of HVPS, LVPS, Laser Pump Chambers, Internal Laser Head Power Meter, Calibration Port, Focusing System, and Handpieces. Cleaning internal Optics, Mirrors, Focusing System, Fiber, and Handpieces. Changing DI-Filter per request (Laser Systems)

9. DI-Filter (De-Ionizing Filter) is one of the important parts of yearly PM Service in Laser/IPL machines. Most of our customers do not consider this service important and some face with machine breakdowns resulting from Lamp Break or Collapsing Cooling System.

We have all parts for Cynosure Elite in stock ready to fix your broken machine in one to two days. We have links to all over the World to order all other parts we don’t have for repair.

We are very confident to our repairs that we give one to three months warranty for repairs. %99 parts we repair never break down again.

Most cost effective service contract for our valued customers is Per Case Repairs; you do not need to pay a huge amount for a yearly based service contract and register your machine. 

Your machine will be fixed in 48 to 72 hours after placing service call. We are here to help, to commit that you are in good hands who consider your benefit more than theirs. Rate of repairs in GTA: $550 minimum service call for up to two hours repair labor. If repair does not need parts, most of machine’s problems can be fixed within one service call.

We do our best to reduce the number of services and labor time , to repair a machine.

Labor time exceeding two hours will be calculated at $150 per hour.

Regular Service Calls are between 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

Over time Services Calls are all times other than Regular Service times, and it is calculated at rate of %150 (1.5 times of regular times). Overtime Service Calls will be performed only by customer’s confirmation.

When you purchase your machine from us, you will receive full technical support from us, which starts with a proper Installation, Application & Technical Training.

Installation

· The Electrical Box which contains the breakers for the power of your new installed machine will be inspected to be sure a proper breakers and cable have been installed.

· Your system will be installed and adjusted according to Power Outlet in the treatment room

· Machine’s Isolating Transformer Tab will be adjusted accordingly to let machine work with a balanced power

· High Voltage and BEP SMPS will be re-adjusted and re-calibrated

 

Application & Technical Training

Your technician  will be trained :

· How to properly turn ON and Turn OFF the system

· What are system’s Capabilities / Options in treatments / diagnoses

· How to use the system properly

· Preventive cautions that need to be considered to protect machine against damages or breakdown due to misuse.

· How and where to keep extra parts (Probes , Handpieces)

Probes Re-Membrane

If the head of probe (Membrane) is torn off or the Crystals are exposed (which is dangerous to patients) We Re-Membrane the surface of probe and make another original Membrane to make the probe usable again.
